Terms of use
Using this site means accepting what is below. It is short because the site is small and holds nothing of yours.
What is on offer
A page that clears lettering out of a picture in your own browser, free of charge, with no account and no stored files. It is offered as it stands. Browsers differ, devices run out of memory, and a given picture may not come back the way you hoped — none of which comes with a warranty here.
What you are responsible for
The pictures you open, and what you do with what comes out. You should have the right to change a picture before you change it. Clearing a mark does not transfer a licence, settle a dispute or create a permission that did not exist, and the guide on lettering somebody else put there sets out the position at more length.
Do not use this site to break a law where you are, to strip a mark from work you have no right to, or to pass off an altered picture as an unaltered record where that matters — evidence, journalism, insurance, identity documents.
What is not promised
That a result will be undetectable. That a fill will be accurate to what was really behind the letters, which nothing can be, because that information is not in your file. That the site will stay available, or that a model file will keep downloading from the address it uses today. Where the law allows a limit on liability, the limit here is nothing, because nothing is charged.
If this page is edited
Whatever stands here is what applies, and it will be edited as the instrument gains or loses features. Nobody will be told, because there is no account to tell and no mailing list to tell it on — which is a consequence of holding nothing of yours rather than an oversight.
